What Featherstone Associates can offer to Lea Rowing Club
Design quality is fundamental to all Featherstone Associates’ work, from one-off houses to education and community projects.
Track record in design excellence and innovation
Our practice, headed by Sarah Featherstone, previously Partner of award-winning practice Hudson Featherstone, has delivered a considerable number of buildings over the last 12 years. This work has been widely acknowledged as innovative and inspirational – reflected in considerable client satisfaction, numerous awards, exhibitions and extensive media coverage.
Our practice has seen a 100% growth year on year since established. Projections this year are the same with a large number of our projects coming from client recommendation and repeated commissions.
Belief in collaborative working
Our work is underpinned by a desire to render the architectural process simple and transparent, and to encourage a collaborative approach to designing buildings.
Quality space and distinctive architecture
Our thorough research of a sites context: historical, social and geographical, ensures we create a sympathetic and distinctive architecture that fosters a sense of place and community ownership within a neighbourhood.
Focus on quality and deliverability
We are used to working under tight schedules and programmes to complete buildings on time and on budget whilst acknowledging the entire team must be all pulling in the right direction.
Ability to bring added value
We enjoy working with informed clients to ensure that design brings value in the widest sense - socially,
culturally and economically.
We can bring added value and reduce building costs by strong conceptual ideas, resourceful construction
solutions and maximising on a site’s potential.
Commitment and passion
We are ambitious and will bring fresh ideas to the project. Our practice is principle led - the projects will not be handed down.
“I think Featherstone Associates analysis and the way that they look at
different problems is exceptionally good. I enjoyed their projects and for me they have
demonstrated their practice’s ability to bring value to a project.”
